The Role:
As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will work with children presenting with a range of developmental delays and disabilities across the NDIS, Medicare, and private sectors. Your role involves delivering evidence-based, client-centred therapy aimed at enhancing children's functional independence, participation, and quality of life in their everyday environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and delivering targeted intervention plans.
- Completing Functional Capacity Assessments and reports in line with NDIS requirements.
- Collaborating closely with families, educators, support coordinators, and other allied health professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
- Providing therapy in clinic, home, school, and community settings.
- Supporting children in the development of skills related to sensory processing, motor coordination, emotional regulation, self-care, play, and learning.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and contributing to ongoing goal setting and review.
What We're Looking For:
- AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience in Paediatric Occupational Therapy
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
